Byron Scott says Kobe has 'privilege' to take all the bad shots he wants

LOS ANGELES, CA - JANUARY 15: Kobe Bryant #24 of the Los Angeles Lakers talks with Head Coach Byron Scott during a 109-102 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers at Staples Center on January 15, 2015 in Los Angeles, California.  Byron Scott and the Los Angeles Lakers continue to be the worst-matched team and coach in the NBA. As Kobe Bryant nears retirement and several young players with potential attempt to establish themselves as long-term fixtures, Scott has doubled down on winning as many games as possible this season even when the Lakers' ceiling seems relatively low. Naturally, the win-now attitude has led to a 2-11 start, worst in the West and ahead of only the winless Philadelphia 76ers across the entire league.

For all the undeniably excellent things about Dwyane Wade's game, he has often come under fire for his inability to develop a consistent long-range shot. He's a 29 percent 3-point shooter over the course of his 13-year career, and has never shot better than 32 percent from beyond the arc.

Karim Benzema arrested for blackmail over sex-tape

Image result for Karim Benzema arrested for blackmail over sex-tape

Karim Benzema was summoned to the police station at Versailles, in regards to a conversation he had with Djibril Cisse at the beginning of October during a French national team meeting. Benzema is believed to have attempted to extort up to €150,000 ($163,656) from another French international, Mathieu Valbuena, over a sex tape shot on a mobile phone.
Cisse was taken into custody and questioned last month by authorities, but was released on the same day and announced his retirement from professional soccer shortly after. Valbuena went out of his way to thank Cisse on his Facebook account and made it clear that he acted like a true friend during the ordeal.
I’m genuinely sorry that my friend djibril cissé could be the subject of a custody lately. For my part I have nothing to reproach djibril who behaved like a friend, trying to help me. I did also no statement to make at this stage to the extent that the case is being processed by the police. I would just like to thank the police services for effective treatment of the case.
Three other suspects believed to be part of Benzema’s entourage were also charged in connection with the case in mid-October.
Regardless of how the whole investigation plays out, it certainly does not bode well for the French national team who is set to host the European Championship next summer. The Real Madrid striker also remains out of action with a hamstring injury and did not take part in his club’s 1-0 victory over Paris St-Germain on Tuesday night.

Poor Isco. He was once a starter for Real Madrid and occasionally the Spanish national team, but now faces a long layoff and uncertain recovery after Ángel Di María broke both of his ankles in today’s Champions League match. Even more damaging, Di María claimed his soul, quite the problem for a creative attacking midfielder.

Eniola Aluko lifts the FA Cup

Arsenal's win over Notts County in the Continental Cup has finally brought the 2015 women's domestic season to a close and from a personal level, it's been the most incredible year of my life.
Whether it has been winning the Women's Super League and FA Cup double with Chelsea, meeting Pele or receiving my solicitor's certificate of admission, I don't want this year to end.

Oh, we’re well down the rabbit hole when it comes to Jose Mourinho and the media.
It’s usually quite clear the way Chelsea’s manager feels about dealing with the media, as a tool for trash talk and a necessary task he rarely relishes.

The Dutchman was brought in to arrest United's slide and has done exactly that, but he cannot be relied upon to take them to the next stage in the coming monthsWhile Louis van Gaal talks often of his impending retirement from football management in 2017, it might well be in everyone’s best interests to bring the end date forward by a year regardless of Manchester United’s trophy haul come the end of this season.

José Mourinho Banned, Sued, And Is Reportedly About To Be Sacked

So Chelsea fans, do you want the bad news, the awful news, or the terrible news first?
On Saturday, Mourinho’s Chelsea lost at Stamford Bridge to the maybe-sorta resurgent Liverpool, 3-1. It was Chelsea’s third loss in six games at home this season; in their previous 99 games at Stamford Bridge under Mourinho, they only lost once.
